Seal your marble using cornstarch to remove grease stains. Clean with a heavy duty sponge, mild dish soap, and water. Try baking soda or comet to reduce scratches. Protect from etching with an absorbent drying mat.

Keeping the surface free of dirt will help preserve granite. Clean your countertop regularly with warm water and a few drops of dish or antibacterial detergent using a soft cloth. Rinse the surface thoroughly with clean water and dry with a soft cloth.

How to take care of Quartz Countertop

Clean the counter with soap and warm water daily, if possible protect your countertops from extreme temperatures. Use trivets or mats below hot stuff avoid using knives directly on the quartz surface wipe up spills as soon as possible.

What Not To Do

Don’t use Vinegar, Ammonia, Lemons, and/or Oranges as countertop cleaners. Also don’t use products intended for bathrooms, bathtubs, and tile or grout cleaning. Do not sit or stand on your countertops and don’t store liquids or toiletries directly on the countertop.
